Do you want child care for all?

We rallied on the steps of New York City Hall this week to celebrate the release of a major new roadmap from the Empire State Campaign for Child Care, the statewide coalition of parents, child care educators, and advocates committed to building high-quality, universal child care for all New Yorkers. Families, educators, and community members came together to call for a system grounded in strong, permanent support for the child care workforce; sufficient investment in the Child Care Assistance Program (CCAP) to clear waitlists and ensure all eligible families can access CCAP during the transition to universal care; and implementation of two different bridge projects toward truly universal, statewide child care. As New York City prepares for new leadership and the state prepares for a new budget cycle, we need to make clear that universal child care is something that all New Yorkers across the state want.

Add your name to show our state representatives that NYS Child Care for All is the path forward.

Thank you for taking action at a moment when New York has a real chance to transform child care for families in every region of the state.
